The goal of the school library program is to support the school mission and to help in the continuous improvement of the school. It also plays a central role in the implementation of the IB Diploma Programme.
KG to Grade 5 students visit the library once a week where they are taught library skills, check out books and do occasional activities. In addition Middle and High school students receive library lessons which include plagiarism, citation, and research techniques. They also get hands-on guidance in the use of valuable reference resources such as Britannica and other online research tools.

The Egyptian Government has launched the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB) on the 9th of January 2016 at Cairo Opera House in parallel with the Youth Day celebrations. The project is by far the largest online library that gives students, researchers and the public access to free education and scientific publications worldwide.
The Presidential Egyptian Media Office announced that the Education and Scientific Research Council signed agreements with 26 international publishing houses, as part of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank project, making it the largest digital library in the world.
The digital library includes the publications of the world’s largest publishing houses, which include Springer Nature, National Geographic, Discovery, Elsevier, Cambridge, Oxford and Reuters, Britannica, among others. The library will cover all areas of knowledge and educational curricula.
Any Egyptian inside the Egyptian territory only will be able to grant free access to the website using his/her National ID number. The website has four portals to address a wide range of internet users: children, students, researchers and general readers’ portals.
